How to retire early

FIRE, fat FIRE or BLISS all terms that are currently very popular. It is something that actually already caught my attention way before the term eventually arose.

Originally inspired by Tim Ferriss’ the four hour workweek, I decided that freedom should be the most desirable endeavor in life (supported by health).

In this post I am going to keep track of my contemplations about the Early Retirement journey.

My current assets

My company

Most important asset, since its providing me with recurring income on a monthly basis. The downside is that its value is ‘locked’ inside the company itself, lately i’m thinking about selling some (minority) shares to cash some of this value and strengthen my personal wealth management by balancing the cash into other assets.

Real estate, one house to live in, two houses (buy to let)

Index Funds (ETF), Vanguard All world

Physical silver

Some crypto

Cash

how much do you need (6 month buffer?)

How to rebalance over time (age dependent?)
